Help a Writer House Her Mom

Author Chavisa Woods (pictured above with her mother) has started a GoFundMe Campaign to help get an affordable camper for her homeless mom before the onset of winter. Chavisa has spent many frustrating years trying to get her mom on disability, in public housing and proper medical care. The bureaucracy and catch-22 of receiving help for any of these things makes it especially hard for the people who need it most–folks who are incredibly disadvantaged because of poverty.
